19 - 21 September:
A Retreat at Galong - Living Water
'... the water that I shall give
will turn into a spring inside you
welling up to eternal life.'
John 4:14
"Living Water" will be our focus - heart, mind, body - for our time together
celebrating 40 years of gathering to worship in 'spirit and truth'. It is
a rich image, inspiring title, engaging theme for our time of reflection and
celebration and for looking to the future.
-
What has been living water for us as we review our times together?
-
What is living water for us now?
-
How are we being called to be living water for each other and our
world in the Spirit of Jesus?
A Prayerful Time of Reflection - silence, space, story, song, play, poetry,
dance and sharing through an holistic approach that recognises and reverences
the unity of body, mind and spirit.
Patricia Delaney and Noel Davis hail from Narooma. They have experience in
leading retreats for couples, chaplains, school staffs, community groups and
gatherings. They accompany folk on their journey. Together they have authored
a number of books on the life of the Spirit in the joys, graces, aches and
pains of living life with courage and tenacity. They share their love of the
land and their passion for affirming the treasure hidden in the fields of
each others' hearts. Some of their books include Heart Gone Walkabout,
Love Finds a Way, From the Wilds of the Heart and the most
recently published The Heart Waking and Breaking Into Dance.
