Our Rector – The Ven Dr Wayne Brighton

Wayne is a leader who believes that God’s Kingdom grows best through local churches that value justice, love mercy and are eager to see God’s grace break through in surprising ways.

He is the Archdeacon for chaplaincy and a member of the Diocesan Public Issues Commission. He is currently a member of General Synod's Mission and Ministry Commission and involved in the ACT Pastoral Care Council and the NSW Civil Chaplaincy Advisory Committee.

Wayne completed his PhD in 2014 which examined the cultural challenges associated with innovation in a variety of church settings. His initial theological education was done in Canada at Regent College, Vancouver. He loves snowboarding and is passionate about everyday discipleship.

Wayne's day off is Monday.

Honorary Priest – Revd Anne Dudzinski

Anne joined the parish in the 1970’s with a science background. She is currently taking services in Kangara Waters and Calvary Nursing Home in the parish and assisting in other ways.

She served as deacon in 1989 at Kambah and became deacon-in–charge in 1991 for the Tumbarumba Parish. Priested in 1992, she also had a prison ministry there. An exchange as Vicar in the Diocese of Hereford in UK was an exciting experience. She has served as chaplain to Brindabella Gardens and Ginninderra Gardens and rector of Berridale and Snowy Mountains. The latter included chaplain to the ski resorts and to the Grammar School in Jindabyne.

She loves inclusive worship, the snow, books and gardens and is involved with her young grandsons.

Connie is a retired priest who leads worship and provides pastoral care to many across our congregation.

Honorary Assistant Priest – Revd Katherine Rainger

Katherine is completing a PhD full-time through Charles Sturt University. Her research explores intersections between Australian film and theology. Katherine has a background in primary teaching and youth and children's ministry.

Holistic Care Nursing Ministry – Venerable Emeritus Anne Ranse OAM

The Venerable Emeritus Anne Ranse OAM RN was ordained into the permanent diaconate in the Diocese on Ascension day, 24 May 1998. Prior to ordination and raising a family Anne worked as a Missionary nurse in the outback serving four years with Bush Church Aid Society at Coober Pedy in South Australia and four years with the Presbyterian Board of Missions in the remote and isolated Pitjantjantjara Aboriginal Community of Ernabella in the Musgrave Ranges of South Australia. Anne is a hospital trained nurse, qualifying in General Nursing at Goulburn Base Hospital and Midwifery at Royal North Shore, Sydney.

She also cares for the elderly, isolated and housebound in the community by providing Holistic Care and advice on social activities and community events that they might be interested in attending and also providing information and assistance on staying in their own home for as long as possible. Through this ministry there is also an education program for the congregation on significant health issues. The Holistic Care Nurse has a vehicle, with a wheel chair lift, that can transport people to activities on site at Holy Covenant.

Children's Worker – Pauline Lovitt

Pauline has a background in drama and singing teaching, performance, Children's Librarianship and working as a mentor with disadvantaged groups. Her research interest is Values Education for which she has a Masters degree in Education (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Youth Leader – Jerry Platt

Jerry grew up in the parish, and from a young age has frequently been involved with music during services. After volunteering with youth for a couple of years, he began his role as youth worker in 2016. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Music in a double degree program at the Australian National University.
